In 1990, Columbus Community Relations Commission was established to help bring civic leaders, business leaders, citizens and elected officials together on issues of ethnic, racial and cultural diversity.  Mayor Michael B. Coleman and Community Relations Commission Executive Director Napoleon A. Bell II are committed to opening the doors and neighborhoods of Columbus to every family.  Through the work of the Community Relations Commission our vision of Building a Community For All can be a reality.

MLK Civil Rights Heritage Tour 2012

The Ohio Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission in collaboration with the City of Columbus Community Relations Commission are sponsoring a bus trip April 10th - April 14th 2012 to retrace the steps of Dr. King and other civil rights heroes.

MLK CelebrationThe City of Columbus will host the Martin Luther King Celebration with many events in January 2012, including an Oratorical Contest January 14, and a ceremonial march and celebratory program at Veterans Memorial on January 16.  Special thanks to the Franklin County Commissioners for co-hosting this important event.

5th Annual MLK Call for Artists!
